Wash Away Your Sinus Pain

The beautiful Spring season is upon us.  Trees and flowers are blooming; and though they bring us great joy to look at, they also bring about that awful, dreaded pollen -  the tiny, powdery substance released from the flowering blooms.  And right along with that pollen comes:  the sneezing, wheezing, itchy, watery eyes, congested nose, headaches, fatigue and irritability.

If you are one of the poor victims of pollen generated allergies, someone who suffers with frequent sinus congestion, I want to share one of my favorite practices to help “wash away” your sinus pain.  For many years, I have recommended this practice to many friends and family.  Some are more receptive than others.  The ones who heed my advice:

LOVE ME - LOVE ME - LOVE ME!

My recommendation:

Nasal Spring Cleaning" via a Netti Pot

Understandably, people are reluctant to try this because it does look like a rather gross practice; but, before you “blow” me off, I strongly urge you to consider this simple practice to help keep your nasal passages clean, thus lowering, or avoiding altogether, the awful, sometimes incapacitating, symptoms of sinus congestion.

Because Nasal Irrigation with a Netti Pot is a rather disgusting looking practice, and because I am not a doctor, but know that so many doctors recommend it, I am sharing two videos about Nasal Congestion Relief spoken by words of doctors, rather than demonstrating myself!  It’s truly must see tv! (Oh and you can skip the last part on Oprah’s show about the feet!)

I strongly urge you to try this practice to wash away your sinus pain!  It is so simple, yet provides such great benefits.  Though I was once someone who had frequent sinus infections, I can now claim that I NEVER have them because I frequently use the Netti Pot.

Netti Pots are inexpensive, and can be purchased at local pharmacies or online.  You can prepare your own or purchase pre-made saline solutions from the pharmacy as well.  There are many different brands.  Just follow the instructions and you will be on your way to a healthier, happier Spring season!
